After some considerable time since our last selection event, we have been able to finalize the coach, the Selection Criteria and the training program.
The first training will be held on the 5th of December, and the general theme is 'Information Overload'. We will meet and begin with a meeting where everybody will be given the Selection Criteria, the Training Schedule and information regarding the cost. After explaining all relevant information, and allowing the players to ask any relevant questions, a light run will be done as a team.
It will also be the first opportunity to formally announce and present Matt Bannon as the Belgium Touch Coach for next years World Cup. He also will be talking about his expectations of the players hoping to make it into the World Cup Team.
Unfortunately, we are unable to announce where exactly this training is to be held. This information is entirely top secret and not entirely difficult to guess, that its top secrecy is fueled by the eternal quest of trying to find suitable and affordable training grounds in Brussels. C'est la vie. We will send through a location as soon as it has all been confirmed.
The second training will be held on the 12th of December. Again, at a undisclosed location to be confirmed at a later date. However, PLEASE SAVE THE DATE. This training session will also go ahead.
Hope everyone has been maintaining there fitness to some extent. And I hope that Coach Bannon won't murder everyone with this promised 'light run'.
